Which companies have used Microsoft Dynamics AX?

The reviewed examples are Aston Martin, Kurt J. Lesker Company, and MaxLinear. Each source supports a different period and scope. Aston Martin’s 2012 announcement describes accounting use; the later Microsoft stories report that Lesker and MaxLinear migrated to Dynamics 365.

This is a historical evidence directory. None of these records confirms that AX is still running today. The table makes that distinction visible rather than treating every surviving customer story as an active installation.

Dynamics AX vs Dynamics 365 customer evidence

An AX reference should not be renamed Dynamics 365 without a source describing the transition. Conversely, an organization that has migrated should not remain in a list of confirmed current AX users. Our Dynamics 365 directory links the reported successor applications and separates CRM from ERP.

Use the business scope as well as the company name. Moving finance does not by itself establish that every division or legacy interface has migrated. The sources here do not provide that level of completeness.

How to use this list for account research

Filter by status and inspect the dated source before making a claim. Employee sizes belong to the publication period shown; unknown values remain separate. The last 90 days panel requires comparable recent history, which is unavailable.

A historical migration can help frame a question about an account’s systems. It is not evidence of a current renewal, an open buying process, or a new removal observed this quarter.

What the evidence can tell you

A public job board supports an ATS observation. A subprocessor disclosure identifies a provider that may process data for particular services. A vendor customer story describes a published relationship. These sources have different scopes and are labeled separately.

Counts cover the records on these pages, not the whole market. No observation in our covered sources does not mean a company does not use a vendor. Source recency and unresolved conflicts affect confidence; observations do not establish spend, renewal timing, or customer churn.
