SAP vs Salesforce: compare observed enterprise relationships

Compare company evidence for SAP and Salesforce, keeping ERP, analytics, and CRM scopes separate from claims about replacement or switching.

Counts use industry-filtered presence records. Changing the movement window only changes the requested history period; it does not turn these records into new adoptions.

Changes in the last 12 months

History unavailable. This window runs from 2025-09-15 to 2026-09-15. Our reviewed baseline begins 2026-09-10. Additions, removals, switches, and net change cannot yet be calculated. This does not mean there were zero changes.

SAP vs Salesforce: compare the actual deployment

SAP and Salesforce cover broad product families. The SAP sources in this sample describe enterprise systems and analytics; the Salesforce sources describe customer-facing sales workflows. Provider-level counts are not a direct product benchmark.

Roche’s source describes existing SAP site systems and analytics alongside future plans. BSH’s story distinguishes systems already running from a Datasphere pilot and cloud migration plans. We count the existing relationship without claiming those plans are complete.

Salesforce vs SAP for CRM or enterprise software

If the question concerns CRM, specify the relevant SAP customer-experience product before comparing it with Salesforce. An SAP ERP observation does not establish SAP CRM use. This page therefore does not fold SAP ERP records into our CRM market-share sample.

To research broader enterprise workflows, inspect the service scope, entity, and publication period on each source. The same company can use different providers for different functions.

Movement and overlap limits

The company overlap is calculated from normalized domains across the selected industry. Missing overlap is a coverage result, not evidence that the products are incompatible.

A time-window selector identifies the historical question. It cannot create a comparable baseline from customer stories. Net wins, losses, and switching counts remain unavailable until supported by suitable history.

What the evidence can tell you

A public job board supports an ATS observation. A subprocessor disclosure identifies a provider that may process data for particular services. A vendor customer story describes a published relationship. These sources have different scopes and are labeled separately.

Counts cover the records on these pages, not the whole market. No observation in our covered sources does not mean a company does not use a vendor. Source recency and unresolved conflicts affect confidence; observations do not establish spend, renewal timing, or customer churn.
