Salesforce vs HubSpot: observed CRM customer evidence

Compare Salesforce and HubSpot customer observations by industry, company overlap, and source type, with explicit limits on historical movement.

Counts use industry-filtered presence records. Changing the movement window only changes the requested history period; it does not turn these records into new adoptions.

Changes in the last 12 months

History unavailable. This window runs from 2025-09-15 to 2026-09-15. Our reviewed baseline begins 2026-09-10. Additions, removals, switches, and net change cannot yet be calculated. This does not mean there were zero changes.

HubSpot vs Salesforce through customer evidence

Both sides include public evidence of customer-facing sales workflows. Salesforce examples include Siemens and Spotify Advertising. HubSpot examples include Casio UK and Ireland, Avison Young, and a CRM-purpose disclosure from Linear.

The sample was selected for inspectable evidence, not market representativeness. Differences in observed counts do not establish which vendor is more popular, better, or growing faster.

Read company overlap carefully

A company is counted once per provider using its normalized domain. A repeated source cannot increase its count. The overlap denominator is the union of companies on the two sides, not the sum of provider counts.

No shared company in a filtered sample means no shared observation in that sample. It does not prove that organizations never use both products. Different entity boundaries and source scopes can also affect apparent overlap.

Migration evidence and CRM selection

A useful migration claim needs a named starting system, ending system, service scope, and supported timing. We do not interpret a newly reviewed customer story as a recent switch.

For selection, define the sales process, reporting requirements, integrations, and ownership of CRM data. Use the customer evidence as a starting point for research, then validate the actual product configuration and implementation requirements.

What the evidence can tell you

A public job board supports an ATS observation. A subprocessor disclosure identifies a provider that may process data for particular services. A vendor customer story describes a published relationship. These sources have different scopes and are labeled separately.

Counts cover the records on these pages, not the whole market. No observation in our covered sources does not mean a company does not use a vendor. Source recency and unresolved conflicts affect confidence; observations do not establish spend, renewal timing, or customer churn.
